Dr. John N. van den Anker Assumes Role of Editor-in-Chief for The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology

The American College of Clinical Pharmacology (ACCP) has announced the appointment of Dr. John N. van den Anker, MD, PhD, FAAP, FCP, as the new Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (JCP). Dr. van den Anker, a distinguished neonatal and pediatric clinical pharmacologist, officially assumed the role on January 1, 2024. He currently holds the Evan and Cindy Jones Endowed Chair of Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. With over a decade of service on the JCP Editorial Board and an extensive publication record, Dr. van den Anker brings unparalleled expertise to his new role.

Dr. John N. van den Anker has been actively involved with ACCP since 2002, holding key positions such as Regent, Secretary, President, and Councilor. His leadership roles within ACCP highlight his dedication to advancing clinical pharmacology. Alongside Dr. van den Anker, Associate Editors Catherijne Knibbe, Vikram Arya, and Honghui Zhou will contribute to enhancing JCP’s global impact.
