Lamar Odom Urges Bam Margera to Seek Help from Jesus Amid Drug and Alcohol Addiction

Former reality TV personality Lamar Odom has stretched a hand of fellowship to assist Bam Margera in overcoming his present struggles. Following Margera’s recent string of arrests and battles with drug and alcohol addiction, the former NBA player, aged 43, provided guidance to the media while in Manhattan Beach, California. Odom first inquired about Margera’s spiritual beliefs, questioning a journalist if he had God in his life, shortly after Margera’s self-surrender to the Pennsylvania State Police Department on April 27, following a five-day evasion of the law.

“A relationship with Jesus Christ should help,” The former spouse of Khloé Kardashian remarked to the press, clarifying that Margera should pursue religion only if he has a personal inclination for it. Odom then added that if Margera’s issue is related to substance abuse, he is willing to extend a helping hand by providing assistance through his wellness center, which consists of three rehabilitation centers owned and managed by him.

“If he wants the help, then it’s here for him. I’m reaching out my arms to him. All he has to do is show up,” the former L.A. Lakers power forward declared.

Religion can play a significant role in the recovery process for individuals struggling with drug addiction. It can provide a sense of purpose, community, and guidance for individuals looking to overcome their addiction and rebuild their lives.

For some, religion can serve as a source of comfort and support during difficult times. It can provide individuals with a sense of hope and belief in a higher power, which can help them stay motivated and committed to their recovery.

In addition to providing emotional support, religion can also offer practical guidance for individuals looking to overcome addiction. Many religious organizations offer counseling, support groups, and other resources specifically designed to help individuals struggling with substance abuse.

For some individuals, religion may be the driving force behind their decision to seek treatment and make positive changes in their lives. It can provide them with a sense of purpose and motivation, helping them to overcome obstacles and stay committed to their recovery journey.

However, it’s important to note that while religion can be a valuable tool in the recovery process, it’s not the only option. There are many effective treatment programs and resources available that do not rely on religious beliefs or practices.

Ultimately, the role of religion in overcoming drug addiction is a personal choice and depends on the individual’s beliefs and values. For those who find comfort and guidance in their faith, incorporating religion into their recovery process can be a powerful tool for achieving lasting sobriety and a fulfilling life in recovery.
