Sanareo Cream: Uses, Benefits, Dosage, Side Effects, Interactions

Sanareo cream is a potent corticosteroid that is used topically to treat various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin become inflamed, itchy, cracked, and rough. Psoriasis occurs when the immune system causes skin cells to grow faster than usual, and dead cells build up on the skin’s surface instead of falling away. While dermatitis is a general term that describes a common skin irritation. It has many causes and forms and usually involves itchy, dry skin or a rash. Or it might cause the skin to blister, ooze, crust or flake off.

Sanareo contains halobetasol propionate 0.05% as active ingredient. It is available as cream or ointments, The strength of the medication varies depending on the formulation and the condition being treated.

How it works

Sanareo cream works by reducing inflammation, itching, and redness in the affected area. When applied to the skin, the active ingredient (halobetasol propionate) binds to specific receptors in skin cells, known as glucocorticoid receptors. This binding activates a cascade of biochemical reactions that ultimately result in the suppression of the immune system and the reduction of inflammation.

In addition to its anti-inflammatory effects, halobetasol propionate also has vasoconstrictive properties, meaning that it narrows blood vessels in the skin. This can help to reduce redness and swelling in the affected area.
