Kamagra Tablets & Oral Jelly: Uses, Dosage, Side Effects, FAQ

Kamagra is a common brand of generic sildenafil a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. At least two-thirds of men have improved erections after taking it.

Kamagra is also sometimes used to treat pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs). This medicine is available on prescription in most countries and can also be bought from most pharmacies. It comes as tablets that you swallow, chewable tablets, and as a liquid that you drink.

Kamagra is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. Kamagra treats erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection. Kamagra treats PAH by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow easily.

If you are taking Kamagra to treat erectile dysfunction, you should know that it does not cure erectile dysfunction or increase sexual desire. Kamagra does not prevent pregnancy or the spread of sexually transmitted diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Some medicines can cause unwanted or dangerous effects when used with Kamagra. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines, especially riociguat (Adempas). Do not take Kamagra with riociguat.

Contact your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if your erection is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours. A prolonged erection (priapism) can damage the penis.

Stop using Kamagra and get emergency medical help if you have sudden vision loss.

It is not clear whether this medicine is the actual cause of vision loss.
